Directions to hotel valadier
Situated between the Spanish steps and Piazza del Popolo, the hotel Valadier boasts one of the most beautiful positions within the heart of Rome where one can find the most exclusive shopping venues and major sights, all dominated by the glorious green of the Villa Borghese. Via della Fontanella is a small and quiet street that joins Via del Corso and Via del Babuino where the so called "Trident Fountain" flows in the splendid Piazza del Popolo which was designed by the architect Valadier. Here one can also find other beautiful works of art such as the twin churches, the Egyptian obelisk which is over 24 meters tall, the walls of Rome, the terrace of the Pincio and Santa Maria del Popolo where one can find two of Caravaggio's important paintings. In just a few minutes by foot one can reach the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

This hotel is set in the perfect location for sight-seeing around the old town of Rome. Every tourist attraction is within easy walking distance. Initially difficult to locate but a good taxi company can dispense with this problem. The hotel is charming and full of old style glamour, if a little chaotic. Room service is available but not as convenient as it should be. A tea and coffee making facility in the room would have been most welcome. |
