When we arrived, the bathroom was poorly cleaned. We found a poo poo in the toilet and it wasn´t flushing at all. WE checked in late so the very kind person in the front desk personally went to our room to throw a bucket of water in there. WE could not use the toilet pretty much for the rest of the night. They gave us complimentary drinks and we did not have to pay for the garage ($13 euro) no discount was authorized though which I think is pretty unfair because of getting a room not at 100%. The personnel is very friendly and hepful but the cleaning employees don´t do their jobs properly. Great location. |

Very close to Munich train station and an easy walk into the main centre. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was very large with twin sinks and a great shower. |

Like many other reviewers have noted, this hotel does require some refurbishments - the rooms look quite old and stained. We thought it was more like a 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel compared to many other European hotels we have stayed in. Although we supposedly got a good rate, I don't feel as though we got the best value for our money and could have gotten a nicer looking room elsewhere. |

The hotel is flattered by its 4 stars – the room was drab, verging on grim, and the bedding was spartan. And by the way, it isn't in Monaco, as it says on the page where I am writing this – it's in Munich! |

Good location for the central station. We were here in winter (so windows were shut) and were not bothered by road or train noise at all, despite being opposite the train lines. Our non-smoking rooms had bedding that smelt of smoke, they were pretty dated with pink carpets and whitewashed cane beds and chairs that had seen better days. The room was clean and the breakfast was a good choice of fruit, croissants and scrambelled eggs/ham/cheese. |
