We stayed at this hotel when attending a wedding nearby and it was OK. Rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit old fashioned. The staff on the reception and bar were friendly enough. |

The hotel has recently changed ownership (I stayed there in May 08), so may improve in future. It currently has rather a run down feel to it - food poor, electrical system faulty (lights in my corridor fused, and then also in my room). Some staff were friendly and helpful, there is a large garden, with little streams and bridges, and some rather rickety seating. |

This hotel has a happy atmosphere - the staff were genuinely friendly, there were may traditional features which gave real character, the breakfast was very good. I would like to stay there again, and have already recommended it! |
