Car parking arrangements were strange and very expensive. Although the hotel has its own car park, this was not advertised on Laterooms. The pricing policy was extortionate at "£10 per exit". Each time you needed to use your car, it would cost you £10 to take it out from the hotel. This is not refunded to guests and no special rate offered for them. Business guests could easily charge this to their business, but leisure guests are also asked to pay this rate. Room clean and spacious, but lacking in some areas expected of a 4 star hotel. |

For a hotel that has a normal rate of £219/night I expected a lot more. Very average room. Quite plastic fittings. |

We only had breakfast in our room but there was plenty of it and of reasonable quality. The porridge was solid but I wouldn't let that put you off staying here. It was convenient for the centre and the room was of a high quality and modern and very clean. I would definitely stay here again. |

Very central to everything in town with the main attractions 5-10 minute walk. Limited parking available on site and when not available a 20% discount is offered on the NCP at the castle. Leisure facilities are small but perfect... I will most certainly visit again and recommend to friends. |
