Only quibble was that the bedroom carpet was in need of a thorough vacuum. |

i booked a night away here for my boyfriends birthday for some qualitl time, we entered into reception where there were some staff on the reception area who didnt even bother to greet us,i had to introduce myself which i thought was wrong, we were then given our key and just told to go upstairs, i had to ask where the spa was and the resteraunt, the room was delightful, just what id wanted but then when we ordered our room service, we were rang after 45 mins after our order to tell us there was none of what we wanted so we had to reorder. then when it arrived it was at a really low temperature. we then left our order for our morning breakfast, but when that arrived there was no spoon for the cerials or any sauces. i hate complaining but it wasnt just one thing that happened but nearly everything we experienced apart from the room itself was not right, this was the reason for stayin in the room all night rather than using the facilities as we felt that we could have got more for our money, we stay away in hotels often too which is a shame really coz the hotel itself is lovely and the location is perfect but it was just a shame about the rest . |

Beautiful building and setting with a superbly updated interior. Very much enjoyed our stay. The restaurant menu didn't appeal to us so we decided to eat in the bar area which was very nice. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. Some of the facilities in the leisure centre were unavailable (awaiting repair) which was a little disappointing, however the manager compensated us for this. We would definitely stay again. |
