Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa

Main Road,Worleston, Nantwich, Cheshire

Rookery Hall is set in 38 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside, and yet conveniently located close to the M6, Crewe, Manchester and Liverpool. The Hall was built in 1816 and today is a fully refurbished country house mansion. As you pass through the wrought iron gates beside the lodge, and sweep down the long drive between the lawns to the house, you could almost be forgiven for momentarily thinking you had somehow been transported to France.
In fact, with its mellow sandstone walls, polished mahogany panelling, ornamental ceilings, deep-buttoned leather, sumptuous sofas, rich brocades, and stained glass, the very fabric of the building radiates warmth and comfort and style.
Enjoy fine cuisine in the award winning restaurant offering superb cuisine made from locally produced produce & ingredients and an exquisite collection of wines. If you are booking a bed & breakfast rate where dinner is not included in your package, please consider your dining arrangements at the time of booking. We advise that if you do wish to eat in our main hotel restaurant early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment however the Brasserie restaurant is available. Thank you for your understanding.
Guest rooms are completely refurbished to the highest standard, including brand new individually designed Executive Doubles. All are en-suite and luxuriously furnished and are complete with TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary luxury toiletries and free high speed Internet access. Rookery Hall has now opened its fabulous new Health Club and Spa, providing the ultimate in pure indulgence with an extensive range of treatments. The health club will provide latest fitness equipment and group exercise studio and pool amongst other benefits. Use of Spa facilities are complimentary to residents of the hotel, excluding treatments. Due to the popularity of treatments at the Health Club, we recommend you pre-book prior to arrival.

I travelled with my wife (who was on business in the area) and daughter. We found the hotel to be excellent in every way. The service was of highest standard; the rooms were beyond our expectation. They were spacious, warm (we stayed in November) and extremely comfortable with wonderful unimpeded views. We have never experienced a TV in the bathroom & a fridge for milk and water before. The facilities in the other areas of the hotel were marvellous. The lounge areas were delightful to sit and read newspapers with views across rolling countryside. The Spa and bistro were an added bonus since we were able to make use of these superb facilities. The food was excellent and that in the bistro of extremely good value. Whilst th cleanliness of the hotel was extremely good, the only possible small comment was that the staircases could have done with a more regular Hoover! We were fortunate (quite by chance) to be able to take advantage of a bargain break and so enjoyed the luxury of a hotel we might not normally be able to afford. We would recommend other travellers to keep an eye out for such opportunities, they will not be disappointed. The stay was equally enjoyed by our daughter in her 20s as it was for us. We felt we had had a mini holiday. Congratulations to the staff and management.

I had expected so much from what I have heard of the food I was a bit disappointed. Good, but not great. As the food was not via Late Rooms it was full price so not sure this was value for money.
