The Villa started life as an impressive 19th century gentlemans residence, and although its more recent transition to Country House has involved extensive refurbishment, it still manages to retain the air of quiet elegance that befits its distinguished heritage. Set amidst rolling parkland, The Villa presents an imposing aspect from the sweeping private approach and, once inside, the beautifully planned accommodation certainly lives up to its promise, offering handsome, well-proportioned public spaces and luxuriously appointed bedrooms.

set in pretty village about 8 miles from blackpool. loveley gardens. good sizeable bedroom. staff were very friendly and food was excellent

Hotel was easy to find.When we arrived nobody was on the reception desk, not a very friendly arrival. Drinks are very expensive we expected to have a meal from the A La Carte menu but was told they only served the Sunday lunch menu on Sundays. Breakfast was a very enjoyable meal the food and the waitress who served us was excellent.

Lovely hotel in a serene countryside setting close to the picturesque village of Wrea Green. Breakfast was superb and served quickly by a helpful, attentive waitress.
