The Ship Hotel

The Ship hotel is a part of the Martyn Leisure Group and is located within easy reach of the M3, M25, M4 and 8 miles from Heathrow. The hotel overlooks the river Thames and some of the rooms feature a river view.
Close to Heathrow Airport,Hampton Court Palace, Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Windsor, Twickenham Rugby Ground, Kempton and Sandown Park racecourses and Wentworth Golf Course.

Directions to The Ship Hotel

From the M25:Leave the motorway at junction 11 (signs posted 'Chertsey'). Turn left at the roundabout for Chertsey.Follow the 'Chertsey' signs to the 2nd set of lights, then turn right (sign posted 'Shepperton')Follow signs to 'Shepperton' as far as the 2nd roundabout. Go straight across roundabout and you are in 'Russell Road'. The Ship Hotel is a half mile on the left(you will pass the main hotel car park on your right.)

From M3 (London bound):Join the M25 (Gatwick turn) and follow above directions.

From the M3 (Southampton bound):Take exit marked 'Sunbury Cross' at junction 1. Take exit marked 'Lower Sunbury' (this is Green Street). Follow the road to the end, then turn right and you will be on the B375, Forbridge Road. Continue to the large roundabout. Take 2nd exit for 'Chertsey' by the Texaco garage.You are now on 'Russell Road' and the Ship Hotel is about half a mile on the right, our main car park is a 100m past the hotel on the left.

The reception was quite welcoming but the bar very stark. The bath was severely cracked.

The bedsheets were stained - I reported to the Hotel housekeeper resolved OK.
