Canon Court Apartments

Great place to stay - walking distance to city centre - nice community area - good local shops to buy food etc. Will be back!!

We very much enjoyed Canon Court. The late arrival procedure was simple. The front of house staff were extremely helpful particularly sorting out our laptop (there is complimentary Wi-Fi). The location is great and there are plenty of amenities (Tesco, late night garage, Post Office all in spitting distance) and of course the marvellous Botanical Gardens. The accommodation is excellent, very comfortable, the fixtures and fittings generally good (although not enough cups and saucers if you have visitors). Only tiny quibble - the pillows were not great. But we really enjoyed the flexibility and extra space of a serviced apartment. We have already booked another visit.

I booked a 1 bedroom apartment here and it was absolutely fantastic!! It was slightly cheaper than a hotel room, with free parking. Very spacious. 2 of us stayed there, absolutely immaculate, so clean and all mod cons! The kitchen appliances all looked brand new, welcome pack in fridge. Would highly recommend to anyone. Only 20 minute walk from princes street and about £4-5 in a taxi.

The apartments were ideal for our stay. As there were a few of us all meeting up in Edinburgh, we all travelled up in seperate cars. As the complex has a free car park, you would expect the hotel to be a bit funny giving away three parking spaces, but they were absolutely fine about it and we took over the whole car park! In terms of location, it's probably about a 20 min walk from the main bars and be prepared for a steep walking experience. But overall, the rooms were great, big in size and clean and tidy on arrival.
