1.we thought we had finally (over the phone) booked a superior room with kingsize bed but ,in fact, we had twin beds (perfectly acceptable alternative). |

Booked the Tudor Farmhouse as a last minute getaway for our 7th wedding aniversary. What a fabulous idea it was!! Hotel was lovely, relaxing, friendly, just what we needed. We didn't have dinner in the hotel, but breakfast was very good, fresh fruit and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with crumpets, a welcome alternative to the full english, which my husband had and enjoyed! Rather than dinner in the hotel we went to the nearby town, Coleford, and found a little Indian restaurant called Ali Shan... the worst Indian food we've ever tasted!!! Next time we'll definitely have dinner in the hotel. |

Ideal for a quiet break - friendly staff and excellent food. Good base for touring the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. |

We found ourselves a little gem. Although we only ate breakfasts at the hotel that was well cooked, served piping hot with a friendly service. I'm sure the evening meal would be of the same standard. A lovely Hotel with friendly staff. We'll definately re visit. |
