The Telford Whitehouse Hotel is ideally located just off the M54 Jct 6, with ideal access to the M6 & M5. Close to Telford Town Centre, The International Centre and Ironbridge, it is perfect for business or leisure guests. The Hotel, which has ample free parking, has superb en-suite accommodation. All rooms are appointed to a 4 star standard plus lots of extras including cotton, duvets, power showers, ironcentres and in-room safe to name a few. Executive rooms and suites are also available. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, Sir Stephen's Brasserie, which offers an excellent international menu very reasonably priced with adjoining lounge and bar. The hotel has a superb health & leisure club with 16m indoor pool and a state-of-the-gymnasium plus sauna, steam room, solarium and a beauty salon offering a full range of treatments for both men & women (appointments advised). THIS IS A NO-SMOKING HOTEL

We have stayed at the Whitehouse Hotel Telford before and this time as usual we could not find fault with anything. Would definately recommend to our freinds and aquaintances. We came to Telford to visit our Son and Familt at Shrewsbury

The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable.
The walls were paper thin you could hear people walking and talking along the corridor.
children jumping and running in the room above.
The toilet and shower from the rooms next door.

Very comfortable well appointed hotel.Excellent staff-good breakfast.Disappointed with dinner which we had included in our package.Would have been annoyed if we had paid the menu prices as food lacked the wow factor.I would stay here again and just eat out for dinner

This hotel appears to cater predominantly for business people (this may have been my impression due to a wednesday night stay). The "dug-out" bar is a sports bar but does not cater for children however is ideal for a few pints and to watch the music TV etc. The beer in this bar is about 40p a pint cheaper than the "brassarie" restaurant.
We booked a meal in in the restaurant and they seemed to place everyone together at one end of the room. I felt a bit concious of this as we were the only family next to a load of business men, and being a young family making some noise we would have been best placed on the other side of the room. The drinks here were expensive aswell, I bought a large rose wine for my wife which cost £7.90 (£3.95 a glass) and the pint was £3.10 as opposed to £2.70 in the bar. I felt this was a shear rip off. I paid £16.95 for a steak and asked if they had pepper sauce, they did but it would cost an extra £2, come on now surely this should be included in the price.
Appart from this, the hotel was ok for our needs, I did not get to use the spa facilities as I would of like to as our daughter was not well.
