Our room had wallpaper peeling off. The air-conditioning consisted of a mobile unit which had to have its hose stuck out our window so the air was never properly cool. The unit made a terrible noise all night. My son's room had the same type of unit but it stopped working in the middle of the night so they had no air-conditioning whatsoever. One of the photos of the hotel on the website had a balcony view with a table and chairs set for a meal. This was a misrepresentation as the balcony was off limlts to guests because the air-conditioning hoses all led out to it and there was just a jumble of things on it. There was one very harassed lady serving breakfast and the quality of the food was poor. We stayed in another 3* hotel the following week and the difference in standard between the two was huge......this hotel should not be 3*. |

I would never recommend this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon we had no hot water until Monday morning. When we asked about compensation for the inconvenience, they refused to do anything. Also, the shower drain was clogged and the water pressure was next to nothing. I would have tried to wash my hair in the sink if my head would have fit. The whole place had very dim lighting. And lastly, the staff were not friendly nor very helpful. They made you feel as if you were bothering them anytime you asked them the smallest question. The location may have been quiet and the breakfast decent but these in no way compensated for the others. |

I love this hotel. I have stayed here several times and the location is ideal - only 15 minutes walk to the Vatican in one direction and 15 minutes to the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, and other main sites (eg. Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain) in the other direction. Highly reccommended! |
