A nice old hotel with very good pool and facilities. I stayed on business but would happily come with my family. |

Hotel was very easy to find and secure parking which is very reasuring. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Food looked and tasted fine but was a little on the pricey side for bar food. Ales were excellent. Leisure facilities A1. Lounge areas very relaxing. |

Had a very pleasant stay here. Hotel was easily accessible and located in heart of Boroughbridge. Parking is a bonus and very secure, though dont park under the trees - car was covered in bird droppings next day! Staff extremely helpful and obliging. Restaurant food was excellent for the dinner and menu was very reasonably priced, well presented and ample portions. Breakfast was a little bit hit and miss. You helped yourself to cereals which was in the entrance to the breakfast room and incoming guests had to dodge around those wanting cereal and the staff going in and out of the kitchen. The hot breakfast was waitress service and efficient but overcooked unless you like your bacon crispy and poached eggs hard, but otherwise hot and plentiful. Would definitely go back again and perhaps ask for my eggs bacon done more to my liking. Happy days and happy stay. Leisure facilities were excellent, practically had the whole thing to ourselves on the Sunday morning, very relaxing. Towels and lockers provided free of charge. |

I have stayed here quite a bit and although I like the hotels situation and leisure club, this stay and the previous stay were spoiled by poor sound proofing and the terrible reception on the really old portable TV's. This is not the cheapest hotel in the world and maybe it's time they updated their rooms |
