We really enjoyed our stay Bruges centre heaving with tourists. We had a deluxe room, full of character on 2nd floor (no lift) overlooking canal. Very quiet (apart from a few ducks) & attractive location 5-10 mins walk to centre. Hotel seemed recently, tastefully refurbished. Watch expensive drinks in bar & minibar. Staff should be more friendly & look happy. Fealt they were trying to send us to a restaurant where they got commission, charged 1 euro to call the taxi of our choice. |

Whilst the hotel was pleasant, it was advertised as a 4* hotel which it definitely was not. There was no shower in my room (no facility to attach the handheld shower to the wall, and in any event, i could not get the handheld shower to work at all). There was no minibar, the towels were old and thin, one of the sheets on my bed had a tear in it and the furniture was old. It was, however, all very clean. This was, in my opinion, a 2*+ or 3* hotel and should not be advertised as 4* (and i do not understand how it got a 4* rating). However, it was pleasantly located on a canal, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main square. One of the receptionists was very helpful and all the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was ok and in accordance with what one would expect in a 3* hotel. The breakfast room was lovely, overlooking the canal. I would not recommend to a friend who wanted a 4* hotel, otherwise, I might recommend it. |

The room was quite small but adequate and good value for money. Great location just five minutes walk to the Market Square. Restaurant nicely located by a canal but it is a continental breakfast and didn't include anything hot (eg bacon or sausages) though I suppose that is typical in Belgium/Europe. Staff were very friendly and sold us a very useful tourist information booklet for a Euro. |

Lovely old building in good location next to canal - a must photograph! Our room had no view and was small but had old world charm. Bed OK but no shower. Lovely little bar which is a great place to meet a few other discerning guests late. Wonderful breakfast room; service efficient, food acceptable but not high class. Hotel staff friendly, helpful and efficient. |
