We had a lovely big room on the first floor of the main building, with a huge comfortable bed and a nice (recently refurbed?) bathroom. There was a function on the floor below which ran on a bit late so we asked to move and they found us another room without any fuss. |

We booked this hotel on line at the last minute. Afterwards We then read the reveiws, some of which were poor, therefore we arrived at the hotel with some doubts. However we found the hotel, bed linen, towels very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel has a lot of character and yes the bathroom may need updating but it was clean and functional with exceptionally hot water. Overall for the money we paid it was very good value. We did enjoy our stay. Thank you. |

They appear to be doing some refurbishing work but this did not impact on my stay. |

Service was stellar except for getting food . . . we would wait and wait and often there was no one to serve us at all. Otherwise top marks. Beautiful hotel, my room was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. |
