The hotel is within walking distance of Princes Street, at the opposite end of Princes Street to the station. It depends what you are planning to do while in Edinburgh, but we had no problem with walking. The layout of the hotel is a bit strange but it was clean and the room was very big, if a slightly odd shape. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, particularly given that it was by far the cheapest we could find. |

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The reception staff recommended places to visit, gave us a map and chatted with us about what we wanted from our visit. The room was exquisite and the view of the castle from our bedroom window was the icing on the cake. I can't comment about the food, since we chose to eat out but if it's as good quality as everything else about this hotel, it comes highly rcommended. We'd definitely stay here again. |
