Nothing special about the apartment/bedsit but the staff were extremely helpful when I left my mobile phone behind when checking out. |

Very easy to find, good central location, good customer care from Kim so I didn't miss the lack of a reception desk. Apartment was fine, but a little gloomy at the back and the lack of bath was disappointing (I gather other apartments have baths but Laterooms doesn't differentiate, so if you want one, phone before booking). |

This apartment is in an excellent location, we arrived by train at Newstreet Station on Friday and made the mistake of leaving via the front entrance, when we got around to the back of the station we discovered an exit/entrance at the top of Navigation St. just 1 minute from the apartment, you need to leave via the end of the platforms for this way out. We had a little problem finding the apartments as they only have a large double door frontage with a little sign above. (For info they are next to the Romance Bistro/opposite the Hill Pub). When we got to the room we were pleasantly surprised, very nice and bigger than we expected, especially after reading about the fold up bed. The bed was the only downside, it was extremely hard. Good kitchen with every thing we needed (we will take our own T and coffee next time) Nice 2 seater leather sofa. The roof top was accessed via stairs and would be nice place to drink a bottle of wine on a nice evening. Everywhere was accessible Alexandra Theatre 5 mins, Brindley Place about 10 mins, Bullring 5 mins. We had a great meal in the Romance Bistro, tiger prawn starter and fillet steak main, 3 beers, 1 large wine for £55. We would stay again, but would not pay any more than £70. |
