The receptionist was very helpful when we booked in after 2.30 am due to the late arrival of the ferry from Belfast. She enabled us to purchase cold beers from the night porter. The buffet breakfast on Sunday morning was first class.

Easy to find the hotel, but what a let down. Drinks over priced, the bar was in such a discusting state, and looked more like a working mens club. The front of the hotel was covered in fag ends, and not just from the wedding that was going on that day.
The children were woken up at half one in the morning by american soldiers playing in the unlocked swimming pool.
We were lloking for the hidden camera during breakfast, as our tea, toast were sneezed on and our waitress sniffled and eventually blew her nose on the service cloth and carried on using it.
On checking out, we were asked if we enjoyed our stay, when we started to explain the elderly duty manager turned her back and walked away. How are people like that employed in hospitality.
Conclusion: great beds, but poor hotel..

I thought for the price we paid for a room only basis, the room would have been of better quality. The furnishings were dated and the television did not work properly. The room was clean but felt for £60 room only, the quality would have been 4* quality which i felt it was not.
