The sign for the Hotel was really welcome for 2 weary walkers and our dog on the WHW. The hotel was lovely, reasonable priced bar food, and a view from the room up Loch Lomond to die for. Large comfy room. Thank you. |

Although the staff did their best to accomodate us, the hotel was shabby in parts and was very dated (not in a quaint way) Could not fault the setting, if you ignore the remoteness and the development work happening next to the hotel. points to note their seemed to be a lack of understanding of fire regulations i:e fire doors propped open 24hrs, unfortunately the dining room menu was no different to the basic food available in the bar, okay if all you are looking for is burger and chips etc, although the websites looks modern and offers a lpt in reality the hotel fall far short of the claims, we managed to get a deal through laterooms.com, the £80 we paid was overpriced, I would recommend that you searched a little while longer, before opting to stay here. |
