I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The reception staff are always very polite and helpful. The location for the money cannot be surpassed. The negatives are that it doesn’t have a lift/elevator, no air-conditioning (they do provide good quality fans) and the WiFi is not free. |

In the height of summer, the room, corridors and stairwells were bearably hot. Although I did find a fan hidden in the wardrobe. Small, but functional room. Shared toilet was a little strange but it was clean and only had to cue once in a week long stay. overall a value for money hotel. |

The hotel is in a typical Bloomsbury town house building. It is very convenient for the British Museum and Covent Garden areas. The hotel has a pleasant reception which is well maintained. some corridors coudl do with a once over with a paintbrush. The room I was assigned to was located in the basement of the buiding below street level. This was fine as the room did have its own small but very clean bathroom and toilet, even though I had not paid for this. I was expecting to share a toilet so I was pleased. he room was on the small side though it did have a double bed. gain , as there was only me the room size ws fine for 2 nights in London. Very good value for money. You do not need to pay for breakfast as there are plently of cafes round the area. |
