Staff friendly and efficient.
Breakfast very good!
Location excellent.
However, if booking a single room for one......Be aware that the room may be just a tad (??) on the tiny side, perhaps in an unusual part of the hotel, and definitely lacking in terms of home comforts ( for example, a toilet!). It'll be fine to rest your head, if you can handle a fan heater for warmth, a single bed that is well, a bed.. and windows that don't close very well.....
Can't speak for other rooms...So the decision is yours......But if location is all, then hey...give it a thought...The sausages and bacon are really rather good...And the route to the wc is no doubt great for the thighs...

I was up in 'the servants quarters' on the fourth floor but it was fine, very good value for money. The room was clean and had no problem in access of the seperate bathroom.
