What a gem! seconds from the duomo and a perfect host.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Florence and within walking distance of all central Florence attractions. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. On the last evening we had to pay and cancel breakfast because we were leaving very early in the morning, 10 minuted later the lady from reception brought to our room a large carton of orange juice with bread and jams for the morning. I thought this was a very kind jesture and I would recommmend this hotel to anyone who asked to stay in central Florence for a reasonable price with friendly hotel staff.

This was a magnificent opportunity to stay in a fabulous house so close to Il Duomo! I could never have stayed in such a location without the benefit of the discount available through laterooms.com - thank you guys. Roberto and family look after your every need - it feels like a home a way from home - and a jacuzzi bath no less, to wash away the aches and pains of a long day's sightseeing. Within a 5 minute walk of the Santa Maria Novella Train Station and all major tourists attractions are easy strolling distance. Not suitable for wheelchair users. Can't praise the location and staff enough.

My husband and I chose this Residenza on the recommendations of other reviews and were not disappointed. We found this a flexible and very suitable accommodation. The host, Roberto, was charming and helpful. I must admit the tray delivered to your room each morning with delicious breakfast was very special and a great start to the day. The building, of course, is very old and this can be seen in the floor tiles which were showing signs of age but only to be expected. It was within earshot of the Duomo but I did not find this disturbing. It was a central and suitable location. The Bruenelleschi room was very large and although a bit dated it was clean and pleasant.
