The linen and beds where clean - the rooms furniture could have been undated and our friends room was a double bed in a single room. A glass in the rooms would be good for drink of water and only one of our double rooms had teamaking facilities. The breakfast was basic only cereal and toast, and the breakfast area and lounge area were not sufficient for the amount of clients staying. We had to wait to get a table for breakfast. Also had the noise of the underground trains going through every ten minutes, from 6 am in the morning. Glad we did not stay for a whole week. |

We only stayed one night. We were not impressed on arrival to find the manager having an argument with his Bank over the phone in front of us and within earshot. At first he was giving us a room that was totally unsuited to us - I argued that I'd asked for a room at front of hotel on initial booking. He reluctantly gave us room no 21. It was only adequate and badly in need of an uplift. The hotel looks 'tired' - we won't be staying there or recommending it again due to poor service, person seems stressed and in bad form. Not a good sign! The area is beautiful though. |
