Castlebank Hotel

Mount Pleasant, Conwy

Castlebank Hotel is an imposing Grade II listed Victorian townhouse , set in its’ own grounds by the walls of Conwy's historic medieval castle. There are eight individually furnished cosy en-suite rooms, residents lounge, licensed bar with log fire in the winter, restaurant, and private parking. The terraced gardens and front rooms enjoy splendid views of the castle and estuary. All rooms have compact en-suite shower rooms to afford more space in the bedrooms and a small flat screen TV with DVD player. We provide free Internet access in the guest lounge and WIFI access for a nominal charge in the rooms. If you have any specific requirements please do advise us at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

From the A55 follow the signs for Conwy town centre ( A547).Cross the suspension bridge, with the castle directly ahead.Go straight across the mini roundabout and follow the one way street ( Rosehill St).Pass Conwy station on the left and a small square ( Lancaster Square), on the right.Go through the Bangor Gate archway in the castle walls and turn immediately first left onto Mount Pleasant.Castlebank Hotel is situated on the first right hand turn and is accessed through the public pay and display car park.

Breakfast excellent. Service could not have been friendlier. And in a lovely town.
The bed was the biggest we've ever slept in. The room was comfy and clean but a little cluttered by cushions etc.

a loverly hotel ,loverly people, nice location near all ammenities,was made very welcome by owners, did everything it said in brochure. will come again

Lovely family run hotel with great food. Room was furnished lovely. Family who run hotel cook the food etc themselves, they where very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Hotel owners, Jo & Henrique, were excellent hosts. Very friendly, helpful at all times and always willing to make every effort to ensure that our stay in both the hotel and Conwy was relaxed and enjoyable. Breakfast food and service was excellent. Small hotel - eight rooms. Great location for those who want to enjoy Conwy Town and surrounding area of North Wales. Cosy licensed bar and very pleasant guest room with internet access. Private car parking. (Note for 'Laterooms' - we originally booked for 2 nights but were so pleased that we actually stayed for 4).
