HOTEL PALMON OPERA

Double bed should be just one bed or at least have the option.

I booked a double bed non smoking and got twin beds in an unbearably smokers room. Was told that was all that was available until I said I would simply not stay. The room we got was incredibly small but you expect that in Paris and you could hear very clearly the conversation of the guests next door.
Breakfast was not included in the price,and in all my internet bookings the most have been 6.50 euro. Palmon Opera charged 9 Euro each for cornflakes, juice, plain yohgurt, bread (ran out) undrinkabe coffee and plastic cheese! Nothing warm. We only ate their once but the breakfast was a very unpleasant addition to the bill and left a very very negative feeling about the stay.
Some staff insisted that we write down our complaints, perhaps they are tired of hearing them. The location is brilliant, close to metro and train station.

The hotel is in a great location and this is about the best thing i can say regarding this hotel. The bathroom although clean was somewhat tired and the bath was very very small (just as well i can get my knees up behind my ears)
as a comparison, it was twice the price of an Ibis hotel with a decor that needs a face lift. Size of the room was about the same as Ibis. The first night there i asked for a coffee (after midnight) which turned up immediately, the second night i was told there was no coffee until breakfast (make your own mind up)
If you cant find anywhere else in the area then this hotel would be Ok if you have a choice though, think twice.

The area the Hotel is in is very dirty (welcome to the geto)
