The car park posed the first problem as it is certainly not designed for larger cars. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent and customer service at all times was the highest possible. Our room was a good size and facilities were as you would expect from this chain. My only critism was that the room was not as clean as it could have been. |

The comment about the room prior to booking was that it was "recently refurbished" room 512 was not and the comment about refurbishment should be removed from your website. We could hardly open the external sliding door because of the dirt hiding under the sliders. The bathroom had black on the bath edging, the bed leg was broken. Sorry but we will not be arranging another stay in this hotel and we will not recommend to any others. |

This hotel is seriously in need of refurbishment and re decoration. Parts of the room and restaurant were not clean, food particles on the floor in the dining area at breakfast were unacceptable, table and chairs were grubby. The room has no heating until triggered by the card entry device, the windows were not sealed properly and it was cold. This hotel has wonderful views of Plymouth sound and surrounding areas so it was sad to see how much it has deteriorated. However the doorman was very helpful and attentive and other staff memebers did their bestalthough at times this was simply not good enough. |
