Garendon Park hotel is a friendly family run hotel offering warm, comfortable accommodation at an affordable price, there are 9 comfortable bedrooms mostly ensuite or with private bathroom. All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, they are centrally heated and have colour T.V, clock radio alarms, and a complimentary beverage tray. A choice breakfast menu is available including a hearty English Breakfast. A home cooked evening meal is available by arrangement. Garendon Park Hotel is located within a five minute walk to Loughborough town centre's main shopping and entertainment area's. Loughborough University is just a five minute drive away, the M1 motorway and the cities of Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and East Midlands Airport are easily accessible from the hotel. The Great Central historical steam railway, Donnington Race track and Motor Car Museum, Charnwood Forest, Bragate Country Park and other attractions such as the National Space Centre are just a quick and pleasant drive away.

It was in a very convenient position in walking distance of the town.
It was quiet and peaceful.

Nice and friendly couple. But our door wasn't possible to lock, and the sausage served at breakfast was the worse sausage we have ever tryed. You sometimes got waked up by others using the old stairs. One of the taps was damaged.
My experice is that in comparison to Scandinavia; France and England have poor standards. England for example often have one tap for cold water, and one for warm. So you are supposed to flop your hands between the two to get at normal heat?
Again, I haven't stayed at that many english hotels, so maybe this was standard, and it was cheap. The couple was nice and humble, and the house was rather nice.
