There were two of us booked in and only one set of towels in the bathroom...we found some more in a drawer but only after we'd shared the one we had! |

I checked in at 2.30 am after a heavy couple of days at Leeds festival which by the way is practically walking distance from the hotel. The very nice gentleman on the desk was very accommodating of my filthy muddy attire and inebriated state. The room was very clean and welcoming with an excellent bathroom (I had a very dodgy Japanese shower) but I wouldn't have thought that was universal throughout the hotel, and this was quickly forgotten when my glass of wine a tuna sandwich arrived by 3.00 am! Having had a fantastic nights sleep I checked out and the lovely lady who checked me out even gave me the parking for free, despite the fact there was supposed to be a charge and I had even parked the night before! I was then on the A1 headed south in under 5 minutes. So all in all an excellently located, clean, friendly and comfortable cheap hotel. I just hope not all the showers dribble freezing to scalding hot water on you! |
