Map & Directions for Ramada Leicester - City Centre

Directions to Ramada Leicester - City Centre

From the M1 (Junction 21) and the M69
Take junction 21 off the M1. The M69 leads into the junction 21 roundabout. Follow the A5460 towards Leicester. After approximately two miles the dual carriageway becomes a single lane. When you see a BP Petrol Station on the right, pull into the right hand lane in readiness to turn right at the next set of traffic lights into Upperton Road. Follow signs for the City and after approximately a mile you will come to a 'T' junction, with the Royal Infirmary on the left hand side and Tiger's rugby ground ahead. Move into the right hand lane and follow the traffic to the left. Now follow the signs for the railway station and turn right at the next set of traffic lights. Pull into the left hand lane to turn left into Tiger's Way, again following the sign for the railway station. Go through three sets of traffic lights and the railway station will be on your right hand side. At the fourth set bear left into Granby Street. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights and left again into the hotel's car park.

From the A50 North (M1 Junction 22)
Follow signs for A50 Leicester (Northgate Street) which turns into Highcross Street as you approach the city centre, then left into Vaughan Way, passing the St Margaret's Bus Station on your right hand side. Continue in the right hand lane and proceed over the flyover. Next you'll approach a roundabout, stay in the right hand lane and take the third exit onto St. George's Way. Continue past four sets of traffic lights (the Leicester Mercury building will appear on the right hand side). At the fifth set of traffic lights turn right into Charles Street. Then take the first left into Northampton Square and at the T-junction turn right into Granby Street. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights and left again into the hotel's car park. (If all else fails, head for the railway station and then follow the signs for Granby Street.)

Should make guests aware that they cannot pay cash for drinks after 11pm, it has to be charged to your room, so you will have to preauthorise a card against your room for extras.
Quality of breakfast service variable, but food always fresh and replenished quickly. After a table was used only one member of staff wiped the table, the others just flicked crumbs off and where cutlery had not been used this was left and reset for the next guest, even when the previous guest had clearly handled these items. My view was that they should have been replaced with clean ones for hygiene reasons.
The room was clean, although not very spacious it was adequate.

Nice hotel, staff & service - I had a little trouble checking in but the reception was more than happy to help. Very central location and feels more like a 4* than a 3.

Staff were extremely helpful, one of our dinner guests was in a wheel chair, which might have been a problem, but not with the staff who made the evening a very successful one for all of us.
The service was top notch, the food delicious. All our guests were made to feel special.

Room was a little small, but recently refurbished so airy and modern. Great location close to town centre. £5 for car park was OK, but I hadn't seen anything anywhere mentioning a charge so a bit of a suprise. Service at breakfast was excellent - staff were lovely. Didn't eat the cooked breakfast so i can't comment on that, but the standard continental breakfast was OK
