The main reception/restaurant area is lovely outside and inside but we were dissapointed with the exterior of the accommodation block reached by a walkway from the main building. it looked dated and a bit neglected. However, the inside was very nice and we were given a lovely room with superior fitting and a door leading to a terrace overlooking the river. We only stayed one night and wished we had booked for longer. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience and Abingdon is worth a visit too. |

good value at late room rate. Lovely setting .Executive room was modern, stylish and very comfortable . Rest of hotel rather characterless decor- bland modern which did not play to uniqueness of being an old mill. Breakfast average. |
