We went to this hotel for one overnight stay. We had had a very busy and hectic day and simply wanted to relax over a nice meal with a bottle of wine. Imagine our dismay when we were told that the restaurant was not available to residents as it was fully booked with Xmas parties!!! We were told we could have a bar snack! Unfortunately the bar was heaving with people having a drink before attending their party in the dining room. Reluctantly we had room service where the menu was very limited. We would not have booked this hotel had we known that the restaurant was closed and we will think long and hard before booking again even though we travel to Crewe several times a year.

The room was very cheap in price but I got what I paid for. ie no heating and and only one blanket on the bed. I had to request a heater and I was supplied with a convector heater which was fairly noisy.

Reception blocked by dozens of guests queuing for carvery meal; smell of vegetables pervaded the whole of the ground floor including the bar area; room door hinges squeeked loudly, floorboards all over hotel creaked, advertised bottled water in room was not there and took 90 minutes to arrive after requesting it.
