The Richard the Lionheart room is somewhat cold unless the radiator is put to full and left on all the time and the decoration could do with a little attention. There is little lighting in the room, a table lamp was missing a bulb and the switch for the wall lights could not be found. The room is however clean, the bathroom excellent and the furnishings of a good quality. The owners are certainly making an effort to improve the standard of accommodation - the tv has just been upgraded to a very large flat screen. Having stayed in other suites at this hotel, the Richard the Lionheart room is just a little dissappointing. |

Only booked for one night but a good hotel. People were plesant and the hotel clean and in a decent location for trains to Twickenham and Waterloo where I needed to be. The room was good and clean but a gripe was I was told when booking the hotel had no single rooms left at one rate but had a double left at a dearer tariff but on arrival it was a single room but adequite. |
