Privately owned by the Nelsey family since 2005 this 17th Century Inn has recently been refurbished to reflect both it's heritage and the needs of both local and travelling guests. The mews and cottage style bedrooms are arranged around parking for 60+ cars. Come inside to experience the warmth and style of our bar and restaurant. Relax, while you enjoy a choice of 3 real ales, beers, quality wines, excellent food, and all in the comfort of our refurbished Bar and Restaurant. it's a shame that the rooms on the front road are disturbed by passing car traffic (my fault - I asked for a smoking room so you can't have everything) but otherwise a very pleasant experience.

We both had a most relaxing stay at this hotel. From booking in to leaving we were made to feel like we were most welcome. Our room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had lots of hot water. The hosts were very friendly as were the staff.
We enjoyed a curry and a pint in the bar in the evenng and if you like Cheesecake they have a Mango Cheesecake to die for. We will most definately be staying here when we are next in the area.

The accommodation was great the food was excellent as was the service very friendly staff and great value for money.
