A beautiful rustic building, once a farmstead, has been the subject of an imaginative refurbishment and now provides every modern facility whilst retaining much of the original character. Situated in the heart of rural England just 1 mile from the main A1. Ideal for the business traveller or as a leisure guest exploring the golf courses or an area steeped in history. The hotel boasts a traditional barn bar, a restaurant with both traditional English and International dishes and full leisure facilities including a 16m pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, together with a state of the art gymnasium. Breakfast was the usual fayre heated under lights. As there is nowhere else near then it's Hobson's choice.

Very accessible of the A1 with good facilities. My room was small but comfortable and the window directly overlooked a corridor but it was a good stopover.
