The hotel is in a great city location with the underground only 5 minutes walk. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only complaint i had was that the charge for breakfast was huge! We ordered two bacon and tomato on toast from room service, when the food arrived we were billed £39.00! I recommend to stay at this hotel but i wouldn't eat here, especially room service. |

Spent a girlie weekend here with a friend and I have to say that this hotel understands customer service. Hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one, including rushing our dinner order through when we were short on time one evening, and arranging a taxi to pick us up in central London when we had difficulty getting a cab at 3am. Wonderful toiletries + big, thick robes provided in the rooms, and having the iMac in the room was incredibly useful in terms of looking up telephone numbers and addresses for places we wanted to see. I'll definitely be back. The only minor niggle was having to queue quite some time for breakfast in the morning, though the food was fantastic (I can recommend the omelettes!) |

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. Only minus: had not restocked any supplies, so had to request milk from reception, and mini bar looked like it had been raided well and truly. Toiletries also depleted. Perhaps short-staffed that day? |

Good location, easy walking both for business and pleasure. Quiet street.Good lateroom rate, a little expensive re: normal business rate, given some stated accommodation expense levels. Very friendly staff, however, not really certain about the family friendly bit, not many children around, as opposed to other hotels where children are very visable. Would take my grandchildren to City, but I'd probably be more relaxed taking them to County Premier Inn . City is an excellent hotel for business though, like the 'Cafe Bar' for informal business chats with colleagues and the bar food is good there too. |

Our check in took longer than usuall have extra security proceedures but we were greeted with a warm smile and polite manner. Over the seekend we ordered a snack via room service and find the quality and presentation of the food average and the delivery service was excellent, the food reached us within 30mins of placing the order. The room was pleasently decorated and remarkably clean but smaller insize than anticipated. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent, situated within 45 minutes walk of the London Eye and central to the houses of parliament. The number 88 bus stops within 3 minutes walk and taxi's are on-call outside main reception. We found the door men to be extremely helpful and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely recommend it to our friends. |
