Have just returned after a 2 night stay at Courtneys
Blackpool is awash with hotels, guest houses and B&B's so there is plenty of choice. Research lead me to book Courtneys and previous visitor comments proved correct.
The welcome from the proprietors Simon and Cheryl when we first arrived and during our visit was pleasant and genuine. On arrival we could see that these were hoteliers who went that extra bit further to provide a home from home with all public rooms being beautifully furnished and above all else clean.
Our room (8) was nicely furnished with everything that one could want available, comfortable beds, tea and coffee, biscuits, bottled water, etc. Again it was extremely clean and tastefully furnished. One very minor moan in that the shower head was fixed and the water pressure was very weak however that aside, it was nice and hot.
Breakfast choice was plentiful and the freshly cooked breakfast really set you up for the day.
Courtneys is about a 15 minute brisk walk along the seafront to the famous Blackpool Tower.
Courtneys is well worth the visit and will be our first choice as and when we return to Blackpool.
