We were there on the coldest weekend of the year . The hotel is crying out for a welcoming fire in the hall . There was no lounge for residents and the bed room was cold . the abiding memory is that of being chilly! |

We have stayed at Coombe Abbey a number of times over the last 18 months. As every stay at hotel excellent. This time we stayed in the new annex - one problem mirrors in the room and bathroom are too high. Mirror is situated over the dressing table, if you sit on the chair you are unable to look in mirror - even with two cushions from the bed still not high enough. So had to stand to dry hair etc. Its ok if you are nearly 6ft not 5ft 3. |
