This is quite a big hotel with 209 rooms. There were over 400 people staying on the saturday night so it was extremely busy. If you are looking for a quiet getaway I wouldn't recommend this hotel at the weekend. The staff were extremely attentive, we noted only one member of staff was English however, this did not cause a concern as the foreign staff spoke very good English.
The alcoholic drinks we found very expensive. Pint of Guiness and a large Vodka & Tonic £13.00! We booked a standard room which was acceptable. I do feel however, that nationally run hotels and this one including do not feel 'individual' or had any hint of 'privately run'. All in all we had a nice evening but just far too busy for are liking.

Took over half an hour between starter and main. Internet was only two hours and from the first log in (be warned as I looked at my emails for a few seconds then went to eat, due to the time taken to serve me when I got back the time had run out!). Phone would not work. Tried to complain about the problems and was not given due respect. Mobile signal not good and mobile internet on O2 non-existant. Hard to find a parking space. Asked for no news paper but was given (and charged) for one. Breakfast was all cold. Not much more I can say other than there are much better hotels down the road and I will go back to using them.

A typical business hotel with very little character and unfriendly staff. A 4* hotel with no air conditioning in the bedrooms!!
