The room was lovely with 4-poster bed. Nice and quiet. Would have liked more options of TV channels. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the Saturday night. Breakfast on Sunday was only served from 8am but this was too late for me so having an earlier option of 7:30 would have been more suitable. Took over 10 minutes to check-out due to lack of staff. When I arrived they did not have any record of my stay and ended up giving me a key to an already occupied room. Also difficult to find the outside rooms in the dark (very poor lighting) On the whole, lovely room but shortage of staff at front desk spoilt the overall stay. |

Room was dirty & shabby - shower was mildewed & the mirror above the basin too low for anyone above 5ft tall. Two light bulbs were not working as were most of the tv channels. Internet only available in main hotel. Staff were pleasant but nobody on desk on arrival & when checking out receptionist answered phone during process to boss (?) & I had to break in to ask if I could get away. She was apologetic but it's not what you need on a business trip & shows poor training. |
