Room was quite sparcely furnished - would benefit from more comfortable chair and the odd rug. Temperature setting too hot [as all hotel rooms generally] but adjustable.

The hotel was easy to get to via Alfons X Metro station, although a cab should cost you less than 30 Euros to/from the airport. Breakfast was extra and probabaly over priced at 14 Euros, especially as cafes were nearby. Hotel staff were in the main good, although one member seemed new and her level of helpfulness poor compared to other staff. Free mini-bar included two beers but a wider selection of soft drinks. Compared to English hotels, very good value for money, although storage was limited.

A very, very disappointing stay. We were told upon arriving that we didn't actually have a room, that the confirmation code meant nothing, as did our credit card receipt. The counter perso, was rude and angry with us, for no apparent reason. After he slammed a stack of papers on the desk, he left to fume in the other room. Eventually we're given a room, that clearly they'd rather not use. The carpet was stained with what appeared to be body fluids and the room smell even worse. We were never apologised to, nor explained anything. The next day at the counter when I went to complain, the desk was staffed by two teenagers in open coats with T-shirts underneath.
I travel a lot but it was my worst hotel experience in recent memory. At this price, I expected better.

The hotel was more a three star than a four star. The bathroom although clean did have that musty smell. We were disappointed they did not offer us a double bed - had to have two singles. Also on our last day our flight was not until 22.00 we had to check out the room at 11.00 storing our luggage at reception, which was ok as it gave us a full day to go out. However the hotel refused to even let us freshen up in a room for the flight home. I offered to pay for this service, but we were asked to get changed and freshen up in a disabled toilet in the basement. For a 'four' star not having this faclity is very poor.
Put us off booking with them again and recommending to our friends.
