The rooms are excellent and I could find no fault with them. However there are great problems in the dining room. There is difficulty in persuading someone to take your order and this is due to a lack of organisation at the top. The dinner menu is short and was unchanged the three times I stayed there.Often the food was cold and at the prices that are charged for both breakfast and dinner represent very poor value.
It is a good place to stay but I would recommend anyone to eat out!

Excellent location. Very pretty, but convenient for M1 and city. Was offered a glass of mulled wine on return to hotel . Breakfast overprices, but all in all, lots of very nice features

Dinner was a disappointment, with delays in having my order taken and a long wait before it was served. When the food arrived it was cold, no excuse for a hotel of this standard.

Room was very small , was noisy as right next to road and because of the sound of the boiler coming on/off throughout the night - not a good night's sleep. Hotel grounds a bit scruffy, although to be fair the hotel is undergoing a refit.
