The website is very misleading in that there are only a few rooms that match the moderness that reflect the pictures. initially the room we were allocated was like a small cupboard overlooking an adjacent brickwall. The receptionist was brilliant instantly upgrading us, but the rooms are decorated in a very old fashioned manner. We couldn't fault the helpfulness of the staff, and the leisure part is good but the hotel feels like you're in someone's grandparents house. |

The let down for this hotel was the size of the so called 'double room', the cleanliness of the bathroom which was poor (with no shower curtain) and the broken bed base leaving the matress to sink into the base when sat / lied upon. The carpet did not touch the walls with the tread grip exposed. The opening window is so high up it cannot be reached without standing on a very 'unstable' chairand stretching. The breakfast was good and the entrance hall well presented. A good one for 'The Hotel Inspector' |
