Classy hotel within a beauitful setting. We both loved this hotel very much, only downside was trying to find the hotel in the dark, best to arrive when its daylight. |

Great stop over location between Chianti and Pisa, couple of ok restaurants in local vicinity but slight lack of nightlife. Great hotel staff! |

The Palazzo Manaioni is a hotel which sucessfully treads the fine line of luxury without excessive opulence. The grand but rustic surroundings are beautifully interlaced with the modern touches expected of a 4 star hotel. The restaurant is excellent, although an adventurous nature is required as some of the menu descriptions do not do the food justice, alot of which is due to "losses in translation". My Wife and I stayed with our 7 month old son, who was accepted openly and warmly by the staff. Special mention is due of Fabian the Argentinian barman who speaks hardly any italian (although he is learning!) His friendliness and skill behind the bar made the stay that extra bit special... and his Gin and Tonic would be worth the trip alone! |

The staff at this hotel were more than willing to try to accommodate any request and were very helpful and approachable. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and friendly inspite of its high standard, many other high standard hotels appear cold and unfriendly/unwelcoming to visitors who don't 'look' the part, but this hotel was wonderful. |
