The room I stayed in was obviously previously a smoking room, and still had a stale smokey smell to it. I had to leave my change of clothes in the bathroom so that I did not smell like a smelly old smoker at my meeting the next day. For an Executive Suite I felt they could have redecorated and tried to remove the smell. |

Decor of rooms dated but well maintained. Mattresses on beds were adequate and could be better but did not cause disruption of sleep. Excellant value for money. Within twenty minute brisk walk of Broad Street and NIA access. Directions from the south of Birmingham could be improved to avoid the central Birmingham Ring Road, thereby avoiding congestion in the centre of the City. |

The room wasn't ready when we arrived. Reception sent someone to our room in the middle of the night with a key and it was only the chain that kept them out. No apology was offered in the morning when we checked out. |
