Directions to Frederick House Hotel
BY ROAD Follow the signs for the city centre. From all directions you will now access the city centre via Queen Street. Westbound : when on Queen Street turn left into Frederick Street and the hotel is located on the right hand side, next to the Post Office. Eastbound : from Queen Street turn right into Frederick Street and the Hotel is on the right hand side, just past Hill Street. BY RAIL From Waverley Station exit to Princes Street then, walking to your left towards the Castle, Frederick Street is the third turning to the right (next turning after Hanover Street). The hotel is located just past George Street on the left hand side, next to the Post Office. Alternatively the hotel is only a short taxi ride away and taxis are readily available at the station. BY AIR From Edinburgh Airport take the No. 100 Airlink shuttle to Princes Street. The only stop for this service on Princes Street is situated just past the bottom of Frederick Street and the hotel is located on Frederick Street, just past George Street, on the left hand side next to the Post Office. The shuttle costs GBP 3.50 per person one way or GBP 5.00 per person for a return ticket, or alternatively a taxi will cost approximately GBP 16.00 one way.
