I stayed here as an alternative to a travel lodge - for not much more money and it included a fantastic, perfectly cooked breakfast. |

The web site for this hotel is very misleading as not all rooms are upgraded and in fact some of the older rooms are very old fashioned and certainly not up to the standard expected. Although overall the hotel was very modern and clean this was not followed through to the accommodation. Although the hotel was fully booked our party were the only table in the dining room and I think that could be explained by the very poor menu choice, and of the 7 dining 5 opted for the vegetarian choice. The food was very expensive and to pay nearly £8 for cheese & biscuits when there wasn't enough cheese to make a sandwich, I personally thought was extortionate. At breakfast there were not enough tables to seat everyone and the service was quite poor. |
