Road - Head for Tower Bridge. Drive towards Tower Bridge as if crossing to south of river, straight over first set of lights and do a U-turn at 2nd set of lights. After the traffic light controlled junction, turn left immediately into St Katherine's Way and the hotel is at the end. There are 120 car parking spaces available under the hotel at an additional charge. Railway and the tube Fenchurch Street is 0.5 miles away. Underground - Take the District or Circle Underground line to Tower Hill Station. Exit the station via the entrance on the left, go down steps and through the subway. Turn left out of the subway, walking past the Tower of London. Take the subway under the next road and then follow signs for the Tower Hotel. Air - From London Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express or Piccadilly Underground into London and then follow the RAIL directions to the hotel. Alternatively, London City Airport is 6 miles away.

We stayed in a newly refurbished room this time, which was nice but very small but had a superb view of Tower Bridge. There was not enough tea and coffee or milk in the room and we had to call to reception on more than one occasion to have our supplies replenished with proper English tea as there was some weird white stuff in abundance in our room.. yuk. The air conditioning did not work all night and we woke up sweating even though we had set it on full. The parking cost £20 even though my friend held a disabled badge which I feel was a little unfair as she had no other means of getting to the hotel. It also took ages to check in and they had also overbooked which seemed to be the problem as the hotel receptionist did not have the authority to override this even though we had paid 4 weeks in advance for our room were had to wait ages while they sorted this out to foned us a room. I would stay here again at a push but only if there were no vancancies within the immediate vicinity.
