We arrived at 6pm and were given keys to a family room, we had booked an executive. The first room had a hole in the carpet and did not meet the description we were given. We then got a different room, which was in need of decoration, had 1 shampoo and 1 body wash, hardly luxury toiletries, there were cracks all over the ceiling, the music didnt pipe into the bathroom. We were shown a third room which was just the same. The manager said it was late rooms fault that he didnt know we booked an exec, and they were block booked out, but why then did they try to charge us £143? We got £30 off in the end, but it took an hour to get into a room and in the end we were really unhappy. Dont ask for poached eggs for breakfast as they are like golf balls...

Leisure facilities were excellent with a large pool and well equiped gym. Breakfast was good but quantity varied from day to day. When busy service also dropped. The room was excellent . Generall staff were friendly but at times too business like - lacked a bit of warmth. Overall a very good hotel but a touch overpriced for what you get.

The Hotel was nice enough for maybe a couple, but there was nothing for the children. The staff were very accomodating, and the location was good if you don't want to be in central Glasgow. We were late arriving so ate in the Cocktail lounge, which was expensive, pleased we didn't go into the Restaurant. The breakfast however was lovely, and the staff were lovely with the children.

If you try using a sat nav system such as TomTom you will have a problem finding the hotel- we tried using one and it took us miles away as the hotel does not have a number and the post code covers a big area- follow the directions on the hotel website!
We were generally happy, nice big room, but the seal on the bath/shower had gone and we found the floor in a pool of water if we used the shower- and the water came through the ceiing below into the dining room which everyone seemed to be actively ignoring. We told the receptionist but as far as I could tell she did not even take a note. I assume that we were just unlucky and this is the only room that had a problem.
The hotel was very busy on the sunday morning and as a result it took a while to get seated and served. The hotel is much bigger than it looks on the website.
