Symphony Lovat Hotel

Situated near the city centre with ample private parking and just a pleasant short walk away from the main shopping area. All our public areas, large lounge bar and beautiful conservatory are tastefully decorated and maintained to a very high standard where you'll be looked after by our friendly attentive staff. The bar menu is extensive with a good range of meals and snacks and our small intimate restaurant is ideal for more formal dining. There are SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER DANCES during the Autumn and Spring months and many shortbreak packages throughout the year. Guests staying in the Lovat also have full use of the leisure facilities at our sister hotel, also located in Perth, including heated pool, spa, sauna, steam room and gym.PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL GUEST BEDROOMS AND FACILITIES WILL BE NON-SMOKING FROM SUNDAY 26TH MARCH 2006

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff and really friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and breakfast and the food was excellent. The bedroom was slightly old fashioned but it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel could only be described as ok. Service in the restaurant was a bit iffy with us having to send back breakfast kippers which were not cooked properly. The Hotel itself is a bit jaded and in need of a lick of paint. Value for money was ok but would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was spotless & ample.
The only problem we had was that I think it's situated below the stairs to the main hotel. Unfortunately there was a wedding on in the hotel that night & the creaking of the floorboards/stair above was terrible. It went on for around 2 hours but stopped around 9pm & after that it was fine.
