Pratts Hotel was the ideal hotel for me - a short walk from the station and near the town centre, my room was clean and spacious, the staff polite and friendly. Breakfast was lovely too. I did see a couple of grumpy reviews about the hotel (among the mainly good feedback) - have to say I can't see what they're on about. If I'm in Bath again, I know where I'd stay.

Very tired and shabby hotel, bathroom and room standards are way below that of many B&B's I have stayed in. Cooked breakfast was cold. Dan the Deputy Manager was helpful. Had to change room as bathroom was disgusting. Not a pleasant stay at all.

we think some of thereviews are unfair. the food was hot and very good our room was quiet and the water was always hot. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is right in the middle of bath close to all the sites. The room did smell a little musty but the whole place was charming. Thank you Pratts hotel we will be back

The hotel wouldn't allow us early entry into our room (early check for a wedding requested at 1pm) so couldn't turn up to get changed before the ceremony and hence we didn't check in until after midnight.
Facilities were pretty run down, double bed was tiny - certainly nowhere near worth £135 a night. The location was very central but all in all, it wasn't a great experience. The staff were pleasant but the hotel is in deseperate need of some attention. Creaky floorboards, jaded decor and very pokey rooms (I had to duck on one side of the bed to avoid the ceiling).
The bathroom has one of those annoying shower connectors from the taps that is fixed on the wall and sprays you around the belly button.
